Fertilizer market hosts a wide range of products containing humic substances of various nature and origin. The sources of humic substances are leonardites, peats, sapropels et al. However Uspich fertilizers possess a different nature, thus being truly unique products. They are made from vermicompost (biohumus) which is produced by means of vermicomposting, i.e. cattle manure processing by earthworms (Red Wigglers, a.k.a. California Red worms or Eisenia fetida).

Uspich production technology makes it possible to preserve ll biologically active substances of vermicompost in the fertilizers made from it. At the background of humus the fertilizers contain macroelements (N, P, K, Ca), mesoelements (Mg, S) and microelements (Fe, B, Mn, Cu, Zn, Mo, Co, Se) in organic form, growth regulators (auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins), phytohormones, amino acids, vitamins and useful microflora.

Vermicompost

Vermicompost is a pliant substance which smells like a fertile soil (black earth orchernozem). It has a wonderful structure and a high water-holding capacity. Great amount (up to 32% in dry matter) of humus substances (humic acids, fulvic acids and humins) enriches this organic fertilizer with agrochemical and growth-stimulating properties. All nutrients are mobile and available to plants.

Vermicomposting

Vermicomposting is based on the ability of earthworms to consume the organic matter, transform it in the gut passage and excrete it in the form of coprolites. In the process of biological conversion cattle manure turns into a valuable organic fertilizer. Around 2000 species of microbes are engaged in vermicomposting in asymbiotic interaction with the earthworms. This interaction accelerates organic matter decomposition.

Animal and poultry farm waste may seem safe at first glance, but it isn’t true. The waste usually contains pathogens, helminth eggs and weed seeds. That is why applying animal and poultry farm waste directly into soil isn’t always reasonable. The key to solving the problem is the farm waste management by means of vermicomposting with the following production of the fertilizers made from vermicompost.

Heavy metals accumulate in earthworms during the vermicomposting process. This enables to remove a part of the heavy metals from the substrate and thus reduce the risks of soil contamination. 
 
Uspich fertilizers have antimicrobial and antifungal properties. They contain all biologically active substances of vermicompost. Uspich fertilizers are mostly liquids.

Uspich fertilizers are eco-friendly, efficient and economical. Owing to the available NPK and the fact that humic substances improve the uptake of earlier unavailable nutrients, Uspich fertilizers can be applied either separately or in combination with mineral fertilizers. In that case the rates of application of mineral fertilizers can be reduced by 20-30%. Only 30-70% of nutrients (NPK) brought to soil with mineral fertilizers are known to be used by the plants. The rest is a dead weight which can only bring salinization and soil erosion. The saddest part of it is the destruction of humus, the major source of soil fertility, which can result in the irreversible depletion of soil.
